Pro-life counseling centers also vandalized.
In Texas, at least three Catholic churches have been vandalized by abortion advocates. At one church, vandals tried to remove the tabernacle, and another sought to desecrate the Eucharist.
In Wisconsin last weekend, someone threw a Molotov cocktail into the office of a pro-life group.
In Los Angeles, parishioners of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels averted a complete disturbance of their service as they ushered abortion activists out of the church who were trying to make their way to the altar during the cathedral’s Mass.
Likewise, churches in Fort Collins, Colorado, were also the targets of graffiti vandals, as was another church in Boulder, Colorado.
In rude demonstrations, pro-abortion activists blocked the doors of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City over the weekend. One parishioner said, “Prayer happened anyway, mostly in the church.”
“This won’t stop us,” said Father Damian Harris, pastor at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. “It propels us to continue to be witnesses for Christ in the world.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For believers to show God’s love for the world as they stand for the sanctity of life.
- For the hearts of Americans to be drawn to the Lord, particularly regarding the value of human life.
- For the safety of the Supreme Court justices as they continue to consider the abortion case ruling.
